Tamari and nuts are fabulous together, add a little spice and you have the perfect snack packed with flavour. Make a big batch and keep a stash to avoid naughty snacking.

  cup almonds
  cup cashews
 100 g Brazil nuts
  cup shelled pistachio nuts
 2 tsp tamari
 1.50 tsp rice malt syrup
 ½ tsp sesame oil
 ½ tsp ground coriander
 ¼ tsp chilli powder

1. Spread nuts over baking tray and bake for 7 minutes at 180˚C
2. Remove nuts and toss before returning to oven and baking for a further 7 minutes
3. Combine tamari, oil, coriander and chilli and mix well in a large bowl
4. Add hot nuts and toss until the moisture evaporates and nuts are lightly coated
5. Return the nuts to the baking tray and bake for 1 minute
6. Allow nuts to cool on the tray
